Lacquered Ink Gilding
A new gilding process made by Doliberg that combines Pantone metallic ink with a metallic shiny coating. It’s similar to foil and allow a wide range of colors, that would be normally unavailable. Plus it does not affect handling too much and it should be more durable compared to foil gilding.
Leatherlike Paper
The main feature of the box is the Custom leatherlike paper, who looks and feel like lizard (or dragon) leather. This item is made in Italy with high quality materials used in the italian fashion industry. It’s made with 2 kind of papers (leatherlike + matte cardboard) glued together. The box is also TRIPLE foiled: gold and red/blue+holographic – and embossed. As you can imagine embossing such a complicated box was a risk, and I almost told Boschiero to not do that. Luckily he insisted, since the embossing turned out ridicolously good.
